PTC Creo

Creo parametric is a feature based parametric bi-directional associative high-end software. It's provides the various range of CAD 3D modeling software delivering product development  tools to help the modeling, Designing of tools and machine.

History

•PTC(parametric technology corporation) founded in 1985 by  SAMUEL GEISBERG AND MIKE PAYEN.

•In 1988 PRO/ENGINEER (PRO-E) is consider to be market with parametric modeling.

•In 2002, company releases PRO/ENGINEER WILDFIRE.

•PRO-E rename as PTC CREO in year 2010.

Special Characteristics of PTC Creo

  • Feature based

It builds the model using individual building blocks are at a time. Feature is the smallest building block of a model. It may be a hole, chamfer, fillet etc.​

All the dimensions value can be modified. Changes in both direction.
